41. Alpha Test Convenience NPCs

Temporary NPCs for a More Efficient Testing Experience​

For the Online Alpha Test, several temporary mock-up NPCs have been placed near the tavern in Lorencia to provide players with convenient access to essential items required for testing the game's various systems.

These NPCs are available exclusively during the Alpha Test. Their primary purpose is to help testers experience the game's core mechanics more quickly by removing unnecessary progression barriers during the testing phase, allowing the development team to gather more meaningful and actionable feedback.

The items and purchasing methods offered by these NPCs do not represent the final live service design. Several of these NPCs temporarily replace systems that are not yet available during the Alpha Test, such as the Cash Shop.

NPC Directory​

1) Izabel​

Izabel sells Scrolls and Orbs, which are used to learn the character skills available for testing during the Alpha Test.

This NPC allows players to gain immediate access to essential skills without having to obtain the required items through monster hunting, as they would during normal gameplay.

In the official release, these skill-learning items will not be sold by NPCs and must instead be acquired through the game's intended progression systems.

2) Potion Girl​

Like Izabel, Potion Girl offers skill-learning items, but focuses primarily on higher-level skills intended for testing more advanced character progression and late-game content.

This NPC enables testers to access advanced skills immediately without having to fulfill the normal progression requirements or complete the full farming process during the Alpha Test.

3) Marce​

Marce sells a variety of Buff Items that are planned to become available through the Cash Shop in the future.

Since the Cash Shop is not available during the Alpha Test, these items have been temporarily made available through Marce and can be purchased using Zen, allowing players to conveniently evaluate the effectiveness and gameplay impact of various buffs.

Marce also sells PK Penalty Removal Items. As a special Alpha Test configuration, players with PK status are still permitted to purchase items from Marce without restriction.

4) Lumen the Barmaid​

Lumen the Barmaid offers items related to the Muun and Pet systems.

Because the intended acquisition methods for many of these items are not yet fully implemented during the Alpha Test, they have been temporarily made available for purchase with Zen to facilitate testing.

This allows players to immediately access Muun- and Pet-related features while enabling the development team to perform more comprehensive testing and validation of both systems.

Purpose of the Alpha Test Temporary NPCs​

These temporary NPCs have been introduced to support the Alpha Test by:

  • Providing immediate access to essential testing items.

  • Reducing the time required for farming and pre-test preparation.

  • Enabling comprehensive testing of skills, Buff Items, Muun, and Pet systems.

  • Temporarily replacing systems that are not yet available, such as the Cash Shop.

  • Helping the development team collect faster, clearer, and more actionable player feedback.

These NPCs serve exclusively as testing support tools during the Alpha Test. Their inventory, functionality, and locations may be modified, relocated, or removed entirely in future test phases or before the official launch.
